Cooling Edge Limited offers a suite of technical training courses for the automotive, agricultural and construction vehicle air conditioning industries. Whether it’s an introduction to air conditioning or a fault diagnosis course, we are able to offer onsite training / assessments at your premises or at our dedicated training facility in Gloucestershire.

Legislation introduced in 2010 by Defra and the European Union (Regulation No: 842/2006) now requires all technicians handling fluorinated gases (R134A) andcarrying out service repair of vehicle air conditioning systems to meet the minimum qualification as set out in the F Gas Regulation.

Cooling Edge Limited is an Approved Training Centre for the City and Guilds and offers the Level 3 City and Guilds Certificate in Mobile Air Conditioning Systems Qualification 7543-01. There are three modules to this qualification as listed below.

Completion of Module 1 (Refrigerant Handling Qualification) meets with the EU legislation introduced in July 2010. Technicians do not have to complete Modules 2 and 3 to qualify.
